⚖ G-DRAGON Files Official Complaints Against Defamers
According to the agency, all collected data and reports were thoroughly reviewed by the end of September. On October 15, the company filed formal complaints against multiple individuals responsible for spreading false or defamatory content targeting the artist.
“We have completed a full investigation based on the materials and evidence obtained,” Galaxy Corporation stated. “Complaints have been officially filed with law enforcement for violations of the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation).”
⚖ Focus on “False Information Defamation” Cases
The company emphasized that this action targets serious offenses involving false information, rather than simple online insults. “We are focusing on cases that meet the criteria for ‘defamation through false facts,’ ensuring that tangible legal consequences are carried out,” the agency explained.
๐ป Major Online Platforms Targeted
Galaxy Corporation further revealed that it will pursue additional complaints across major online communities and platforms, including DC Inside, Daum Cafรฉ, X (formerly Twitter), Nate Pann, FM Korea, and Naver. The company plans to proceed with these filings sequentially to hold all involved parties accountable.
๐ฃ Galaxy Corporation’s Official Statement
“Due to ongoing investigations and the Personal Information Protection Act, we cannot publicly disclose specific details of the case,” Galaxy Corporation said. “However, we will regularly update fans within the limits of what can be shared through our official community. We are committed to ensuring our artist’s safe and stable creative environment moving forward.”
๐ต G-DRAGON’s Clean Record and Comeback
This development follows G-DRAGON’s full exoneration last year after being investigated for alleged drug use — all tests returned negative, and he was cleared of any charges. In early 2024, he signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation and released his third full album “รbermensch” in February. Since then, he has embarked on a successful world tour, reaffirming his global influence as a pioneering K-pop icon.
