Park Bom of 2NE1 has become the center of public attention after posting — and then deleting — what she claimed to be a legal complaint against former YG Entertainment executive Yang Hyun-suk. However, her current agency DNation Entertainment has officially clarified that no legal complaint has been filed and that Park Bom is currently focusing on her health and recovery.
⚖️ Park Bom’s Claims Against YG Entertainment
On October 22, Park Bom posted on her personal social media that she would be filing a lawsuit against Yang Hyun-suk for alleged fraud and embezzlement. In the post, she accused the former producer of failing to pay her due profits from music releases, concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, and other activities, claiming the losses amounted to an “unpaid sum” estimated in the billions of won.
She wrote, “The defendant did not pay me the profits that should have been rightfully distributed. I request a thorough investigation and legal punishment.” Park Bom also mentioned that she had gathered contracts, payment records, emails, and transaction data as evidence to support her claims.
๐ The Deleted (and Reposted) Lawsuit Document
Following the upload, fans and netizens quickly pointed out irregularities in the document’s format and content. Park Bom soon deleted the post — only to re-upload it a few hours later, this time leaving her personal phone number unblurred, raising concerns about her privacy and mental well-being. The post was deleted once again shortly after.
๐ข DNation’s Official Response
In response, DNation Entertainment issued an official statement on October 23:
“The financial settlements related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities have already been completed. No lawsuit or complaint has been officially filed with any legal authority. Park Bom is currently taking a full break from all activities to focus on treatment and recovery. We will do our utmost to help her regain her health.”
๐ Focus on Treatment and Recovery
Park Bom has been on a health-related hiatus since August 2025. Her recent social media posts — including one where she referred to actor Lee Min-ho as her “husband” — sparked confusion among fans and the media. Lee Min-ho’s agency has since clarified that there is no personal relationship between the two.
DNation emphasized that the artist is currently receiving medical care and psychological support, asking fans and the public for understanding during this period.
๐ฃ️ Public Reaction and Ongoing Concerns
Many fans have expressed both concern and sympathy for Park Bom, encouraging her to rest and recover. Some also called for sensitivity in media coverage, emphasizing the importance of respecting her privacy and mental health.
